- SHR merged with Sekisui House Residential Investment Corporation ("SHI") through an absorption-type merger, with SHR as the surviving corporation and SHI as the dissolving corporation, effective May 1, 2018. The merger used the purchase method, and SHR, as the acquiring corporation, succeeded the assets of SHI at market value. Accordingly, the acquisition prices of SHI's assets (property numbers R-001 to R-100) succeeded by SHR represent their appraisal values as of April 30, 2018, the preceding day of the effective date of the merger.
